Hiring Our Climbing Wall

Access to your location

The mobile climbing wall is mounted on a trailer and towed by a 4×4 vehicle.
Access to the site and suitability of flooring is the responsibility of the client.

Trailer – Weight 2,150kg | Length 8.25m | Width 3m | Height 2.71m
Vehicle – Weight 1,500kg| Length 4.6m | Width 2.1m | Height 2.5m

Access through gates/entrances must allow adequate width and height and have a wide enough turning into the access from the road.

Siting requirements for the event

Floor Level Parameters (guide only please discuss)

The wall is ideally sited on flat tarmac, concrete or solid wood flooring. When used on the trailer the wall can also be sited on grass. We will provide boarding for under feet stability.
Level parameters would ideally be:
Front to back: 7.5cm drop over 1m lengths
Left to right: 7.5cm drop over 2m lengths

Indoors without trailer (all dimensions include safety area)

Access to indoors is required by our vehicle until in position. When in position the wall can be removed from the trailer.
Height requirement 9m
Depth requirement 5m
Width requirement 7.65m
If sited indoors on the trailer then area requirements are as for outdoors.

Outdoors with trailer (all dimensions include safety area)

Height requirement 9m
Depth requirement 12.20m
Width requirement 7.65m at wall end tapering to 2.60m at trailer end.

Weather Restrictions

The climbing wall is operational in winds up to 30mph. In the event of adverse weather conditions such as high winds, thunderstorms the operation of the climbing wall will be ceased until such time as it is deemed safe to resume.
